B-e-a-utiful eyes

Lately I have been venturing in to the area of eye make-up, as in wearing a lot more of it, and with this, every girl knows you need a good eye make-up remover. I had tried a couple but none of them really removed it nicely with out me taking violent action against my eye, which trust me, it didn't appreciate. I'd had this problem for a while, until I came upon this beauty...
Vast in it's glory...
I had never heard of the brand botanics before, but now I don't know what I would do without this product. It looks a bit strange to start with as the oils have separated, but don't fret with a vigorous shake you're all set to go. It take's off your eye make-up so easily, just one swipe over your eyes and most of your make-up has gone with it, even waterproof. I will admit the first time I used it around my eyes felt strange and oily but that's just the product using it's after magic. If it isn't enough that it takes all of your make-up off easily, it also brightens and soothes your eyes and conditions your lashes, and I mean who doesn't want conditioned lashes? I think this product is perfect and I am very happy with it, so I definitely recommend it. Don't forget to check what it's made of to make sure you're not allergic to anything, and if you're not then go ahead I say!

Thankyou for reading, have a good day :)

The Wrong Mans...

mans is a hard word to say...
I wanted to share with you a new TV series that I have been watching, because if you aren't watching it, then you're missing out! The main characters are the lovable James Corden, and the hilarious Mathew Baynton. The basic plot is described in the title, two men who have been dragged in to a kidnapping situation after answering a phone call that clearly wasn't meant for them. I don't want to spoil it to much for you, so this is all I am going to say... There has only been two episodes and so far they have been hilarious but I would watch out as some might find it quite jumpy, or even frighting, but I definitely do recommend it. It has been brilliant so far and I can only feel that it is going to get better. If you are interested it's on every Tuesday, on the channel BBC Two at 9pm (straight after Great British Bake Off, again another fantastic show)
I know I've said it once, but I truly do recommend it, if you watch it and enjoy it then don't forget to come back and tell me in the comments!

I'll have to go now as it starts in ten minutes ;)
Thankyou for reading, have a nice night :)

Nail Varnish Of The Week

I rarely have naked nails, that sounds a bit strange, and so I've decided to make a short post every new nail eve about the nail polish I've been wearing that week, just a small review about the colour, how well it stays on and my personal opinion on it. So let’s begin with nail varnish of the week numero uno :)
this weeks nail varnish...
So this week I decided to use a nail varnish from the brand 17 in the colour 'Glisten'
I bought this nail varnish a year ago now, but luckily is still available to buy in boots. It is one of my favourite nail varnishes for autumn as it has a warm orangey colour to it with a shimmer of rose gold, it is a beautiful colour! It stays on your nails for a medium period of time with out chipping, and you can layer it up to create more of an intense colour, or stick to one coat for a subtle hit. For this week I decided to layer it on top of a white nail varnish and it has given it such an amazing light pearly look to the nails and I am very happy with it. I definitely recommend this nail varnish to anyone and everyone!

Thankyou for reading, and have a nice day :)

Cheesy Cake Anyone?

Cheesy title anyone?... hahah, oh dear
OK, let’s just jump straight in to this one and let me say I have a cheesecake OBSESSION, great isn't it, it couldn't be a healthy food obsession or an exercise obsession, no had to be cheesecake...
But although cheesecake isn't the healthiest of options, everyone needs a treat now and then, right? So today I want to share with you a cheesecake recipe that I have used many times, and makes, in my opinion, one of the tastiest cheesecakes ever, it's quick and delicious... what more could you ask for!
You will need:

For the base:
250g of digestive biscuits
100g of melted butter

For the top:
600g of soft cheese
100g of icing sugar
284ml pot of double cream
About one punnet of Strawberries or as many as your heart desires

Firstly crush up the digestive biscuits, by putting them in a plastic food bag and crushing them using a rolling pin, or any other method you may have. Put the biscuit crumbs in a bowl and pour the melted butter over them, mix, tip them in to a tin, or whatever you would like to serve your cheesecake in and press down to create an even layer of biscuit. Chill in the fridge for about 1 hour (or if you are as over excited as I was 10 minutes) to set.

Base, base, base, base...
Now for the top, put the soft cheese and icing sugar in a bowl and mix until smooth. Pour in the double cream and mix again. Cut up as many strawberries as you wish and add them to the creamy mix (if you want some extra strawberry taste, which I do recommend, crush up some strawberries and add them as well)
Spoon the mix on to the biscuit base and spread evenly. Leave overnight to set completely (once again, or ten to fifteen minutes, I mean overnight is a very long time to wait)

I'd like to apologise for not taking the picture before my family devoured half of it...
AND ENJOY! :)
If you try out this recipe please tell me what you think of it in the comments, and maybe show me any delicious recipes you think tops this one (go on I dare you ;) haha)

Thankyou for reading, have a nice day :)

Coating Up For Winter

WHERE DID THE SUMMER GO?
OK I know I am a bit late noticing but summer has definitely gone and autumn/winter has officially began. Which means a lot of good things, for instance wrapping up in layers of clothes and warm jumpers, an aroma of cinnamon where ever you go, the season of snow and rain (although if you live in Britain like me, every season is rain season) and a lot more. But what I'm trying to get to is that since it is going to be raining more and (hopefully) snowing, there is one item of clothing we're all going to need, yes that's right... a coat. Now I know I'm not the only one that is thinking this but I hate wearing coats, with a passion... even so that I would go out in the snow with layers and layers of jumpers on instead to keep the cold away just to make sure I didn't have to wear one. But the reason I hated coats was based upon the fact that I could never find one I liked (I'd like to think of it as not being picky, but just knowing what I prefer... OK maybe a bit picky) but that, was until now...
Ta Dah!
It may seem like a simple parka to anyone, but for some reason it had never occurred to me to try a parka coat, and I definitely regret it. There are no flaws with a coat like this, I love the colour (check), it has a fluffy inside (check) and well if that's not enough to get you to love this coat then I don't know what else is, because it definitely is enough for me. This particular one is from Matalan and only cost me £35, which if you ask me is very cheap for a coat, but the coat it's self is the complete opposite of cheap, being thick, comfortable and perfect for layering jumpers under and keeping you warm in the colder days (although if you do want to layer underneath I do recommend getting one size bigger than usual to make sure it's still comfortable). So there we go, my fear of coats has been lifted and I can not wait for it to get colder so I can practically live in the thing... sorry for rambling, but I do recommend taking a look at it, if you have the same problem as me or are simple looking for a good coat

Thanks for reading! have a good day :)

Yay For Blogs!

So i've been reading blogs for a while now, all sorts of blogs from fashion to life. I love reading a good blog and reading something that will keep me thinking all day, make me go, "oh yeah that's true" or "i've never thought of it that way" o'r even something that teaches me something new. That's why i've decided to create this blog, full of things that i learn to teach others, all kinds of reviews and hopefully if i get to help at least one person while enjoy my time blogging then i will be very happy... yay for blogs :)
